With three rounds to go for the 2021/2022 season, it gives our first XI the chance to finish the season strong. Last week was painful losing by 1 run, but that's cricket, and we move onto tomorrows game.
We welcome Knox Gardens up the hill, in a rematch. Earlier this year, the green thumbs got the better of us as we fell short by 42 runs chasing 249 to win.
Aaron Tanic top scored with 81 and coach Daniel Cormack, was starting to hit his straps with a 78. Harley McDermott did the most damage with the ball claiming 2/50.
Knox Gardens lost last weekend to ladder leaders Lysterfield, so will be looking to make amends and push for a finals spot.
It won't be an easy task, however, hopefully our fortunes turn this week - Go South
